This article is about the basic theory of foot detox. The basic premise behind foot detox is that the toxins are extracted through the bottom of the foot. There are only two main products that you can buy for foot detox. The first approach is in the form of a large patch that sticks to the bottom of your foot. It is designed to extract toxins out of your body while you sleep. When you wake up in the morning the foot detox pad would have been working all night to detoxify your body.

Product number two is the detox foot spa. Extracting the toxins from the feet is the same principle here again. The base of the unit is fitted with a small electrode. You put water into the bath and put your feet inside the water. Positive ions are passed into the water by the electrodes unit. The positivity of the ions cause the negative toxins to be drawn from your body through the soles of your feet.

There is actually a physical proof that the products are working. There will be major discoloration in both methods. The detox foot bath will show that the water inside of it has significantly changed in color. This is also the same with the detox foot patch that has been taken off the patient in the morning.

I said there many skeptics of both of these systems, and the skeptics believe that the discoloration is caused by the product itself not by the toxins. Endorsers of the foot detox pad and foot detoxification contradict this.

Although there is always going to be skepticism about alternative medicines, there is a particularly fierce opposition to these methods of foot detox. Both sides of the argument have undertaken to scientifically test the theories of foot detox. They have also scientifically tested both of the products outlined above. There are different results coming from each side of this argument. The results are different, and each side is sticking to their own argument. You can use these products yourself to see if they really work or don’t. It could be on an individual basis.
