What Will Soulja Boy’s Thinking Skills Produce?

Thinking skills can help us get through the most difficult situations. Sometimes, I wonder what rapper, Soulja Boy is thinking to try and get himself out of the mess he seems to have put himself in. Not being one to judge without looking at both sides of the spectrum, writers try to remain un-bias, but alas, when facts are laid on the table, and hands are caught red, the criticism seems just, right?

In The Beginning

Who would have ever thought DeAndre Ramone Way, better known as Soulja Boy, would gain so much success? In 2005, Soulja Boy made a smooth business move by putting his songs on online music sharing websites under famous musician’s names. Though the maneuver was rather sneaky, it caught the attention of many a young audience, between the ages of 6 and 40. Soulja Boy, Tell Em was the hit that spawned the country. It seemed videos were popping up everywhere with fans doing the Soulja Boy dance. Amazingly, the songs he sold on the online music sharing sites, such as Myspace, Youtube, and SoundClick dot com started rising in popularity. Of course, the major record label’s noticed this, and gave him a shot at better distribution, media coverage, music video funds, and a whopping 0,000 advance. He had made it big, and at the age of 17.

Critics, and Fans

After Soulja Boy’s album released, it appeared his record sales would soar to the top of the charts. However, many hip-hop and rap fans detested his music style, claiming that the young rapper was, “killing Hip-Hop.” Regardless of what these legends of Hip-Hop fans think, the youth are determining Soulja Boy’s success, and the radio stations, in more than predominately black areas, but also suburban pop stations are playing his songs repeatedly throughout the day.

The Genius

At the tender age of 17, Soulja Boy has managed to position himself that most people only dream of: he completely owns his own product. Because he wrote and produced his own material, he earns more money from the album sales. This is the reason that he could pay the record label back their advancement, although his album isn’t selling as fast as he or the label would like it to. With album sales reaching over a million, and with him receiving over from each album sale, a rough estimate of his funds would be in the vicinity of m! In spite of what any critics or die hard Hip-Hop fans have to say about his music, they can’t take away the fact that he became a self-made millionaire before he became an adult.

Are the 15 Minutes Up?

Now that Internet gossip websites, and television gossip shows have been airing his dirty laundry, like owing his apartment complex over ,000 in rent, and receiving complaints from neighboring tenants, his arrogance has grown to an enormous size. He made a video (the video is currently removed) showing many many chairs worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and stacks upon stacks of bounded 0 bills. On October 09, 2009, Soulja Boy was arrested for running away from police while attending a party in an abandoned house. People judge the young man and many don’t realize that he earnt a lot of money at a very young age. Turning eighteen allowed him to decide, for himself, what to do with his money. Kids often make mistakes, and they need to grow up, but with that amount of money, trouble could just be on the horizon.

Who knows why Soulja Boy has been graced with such success, and little influence of the progression of Hip-Hop music as an art. His image, however, is failing, and his arrogance is costing him his credibility. He’s going to need some major thinking skills to get himself out of the ditch he’s currently digging. Maybe grace will save him, just as it lifted him.

Learn to Play Music on the Guitar

Learning the play the guitar was always a dream for me and I’ve found the place to make that dream come true Jamorama .

My father played the acoustic guitar, he could hear it and play it, blues, simple easy songs, some rock, country, and gospel.  I always wanted to learn how to play on the guitar just like him but he wasn’t willing to be a teacher.

My husband used to strum the guitar and played the song Telstar but as soon as I said I wanted to learn, he stopped, so he wasn’t my teacher.

I was looking for someone to teach me how to play chords, give me tips, and tutor me.{  I heard about Fender guitars and Gibson electric and acoustic guitars, and they all sounded great, but I didn’t need a name guitar just something simple}.

Who do you think is the greatest, Eric Clapton, the Eagles, or Duane Eddy the list of great guitarists goes on and on. Just like Jerry Lee Lewis, he’s one of a kind at what he does (can he ever play the piano), but I would never be able to do that.

Is that what you think?Don’t give up on your dreams of learning the skill of playing the guitar and giving yourself a sense of accomplishment?  Don’t do that.

If the guitar is something you want to learn to play, well do it!!!

By the way did you know Waylon Jennings was Buddy Holly’s bass player?  Piece of trivia..

Well I found something that looks like it can teach even me.  It’s called Jamorama, put together by a guy named Ben Edwards.

Check it out, you will be glad you did Jamorama.  Nothing to lose as he has a 100% 8 week money back guarantee with no hassle refund.

Ben will be your teacher with his special techniques; he’ll teach you how to play virtually any guitar song you have ever heard. Whether you are a beginner or not you can use his tips, and tutorials. Ben says he can have you playing in 5 minutes, that would be great.  He promises to teach you real skills with Jamorama.

Kids Songs

Youngsters love music and today there are so many kid songs created by gifted artists, it can be hard to select a favorite.  Music is an excellent way to help children learn and interact with each other and it’s a wonderful way to have some great fun.  Kid songs alter by style and artist so your little one has a great number of options for his musical tastes.

One of the freshest bands that make a variety of kid songs is the Laurie Berkner Band.  This band is a favourite among little ones across the U.  S.  .  Laurie Berkner works in partnership with her husband and a trusted chum to pen and produce a great number of kid songs for your small one to enjoy.

This band offers a diverse portfolio of musical styles that are certain to meet any music lover’s tastes.  The kid songs are appealing to kids and adults alike and the diverse sorts of musical styles the band uses are amazing.  Kids have a singular opportunity to get introduced to a number of different kinds of music.

For example, the Laurie Berkner Band has created some songs that appeal to the blues.  Some of my daughter’s favourite kid songs are drafted in the classic blues style.  The band produced a lovable tune called I Know a Chicken that not only helps kids learn about animals and animal sounds.  It also introduces them to the regular blues tempo found in music from that genre.  The song just about is reminiscent of a tune performed by the Muddy Waters Blues Band.

The Laurie Berkner Band also offers kid songs that have an island appeal.  The song Under a Shady Tree has a superb Reggae beat that is quickly recognized by any Bob Marley fan.  This helps children gain a feeling for diverse sorts of music and it helps them understand that a place can be captured by a tune.

There are a lot of other bands that offer great kid songs but none match the Laurie Berkner Band.  The favored kid’s channel, Noggin features this band in a number of shows and specials.  These shows and specials are on the top of our household’s family viewing list.

My child is looking forward to seeing what this engaging kids’s band has to offer next.  I must confess that I do, too.  I didn’t think that kid songs could be so entertaining and educational.

The Beatles Mono Box Set: The Beatles Albums In Their Original Mono For The First Time On CD

In The 1960s Mono Mixes Were The Standard

It was not until the time of Abbey Road & Let It Be that the stereo mixes became The Beatles primary focus. Up until that point, they were more focused on the mono mixes as they were the standard way people listened to music then.

The Original Beatles Albums

You can make a great case that these original mono mix CDs represent The Beatles albums in their truest form. These are the mixes that most people heard back in the 1960s. These are the mixes that made them the biggest band of all time. Even if just for historical context, these mixes are very interesting to true Beatles fans.

The Mono Album Box Set Includes

  • The Band’s first 10 studio albums in mono.
  • The original stereo mixes of Rubber Soul & Help!
  • The Mono Masters collection of the mono mixes of the band’s non album songs.

Where’s Yellow Submarine, Let It Be, & Abbey Road?

These final three LPs were never mixed in mono because by then stereo was the standard.

Why Are Stereo Mixes Of Two Of The Beatles Albums Included?

The two albums included in stereo (Help! & Rubber Soul) were recorded in 1965. Why is that relevant? Because that’s when the band first started to do these stereo mixes and they were very experimental. Because of that when the bands albums were first released on CD in the 1980s they decided against including these 1960s stereo mixes and made new stereo mixes to replace them with. The original stereo mixes for these 1965 classic albums have never been on CD until this new mono box set.

The White Album In Mono In The US For The First Time

This will actually be the first time the band’s classic self titled 1968 album (best known as The White Album) will be released in mono in the US in any format.

The Beatles Remastered Box Sets

There are 2 Beatles box sets being released on September 9, 2009. A mono box set & a stereo box set. Both are likely to be deemed {essential purchases by~essential for} real Beatles fanatics.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller

“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” – This tune is one of four tunes on the album that Jackson got songwriting credits for. Michael Jackson wasn’t only a great singer & dancer, he was also a excellent songwriter.

“Baby Be Mine” – To get an idea of how awesome this album is consider this: “Baby Be Mine” is one of only two songs that wasn’t a hit single. This is a pretty great tune to be one of just two songs not released as a single.

“The Girl Is Mine” – The lyrics are cheesy as hell but I think that’s part of the song’s charm. This is a tune I’ve started to enjoy more and more over time. The back & forth between Michael & Beatles legend Paul McCartney is pretty darn adorable. Jackson wrote this song.

“Thriller” – At this point the music video is probably more famous than the song which I think is kind of unfortunate. It’s a great song and Jackson’s performance is brilliant. I don’t think any other artist could have really made this song work.

“Beat It” – Eddie Van Halen features on this “rock” song. Jackson doesn’t get enough credit for stuff like this. MJ wrote “Beat It.”

“Billie Jean” – The quintesential Michael Jackson song. If you are ever questioning MJ’s talent remember that he wrote and performed this song.

“Human Nature” – This is one of the songs I enjoy most lately because it hasn’t been played to death like a lot of the other songs on the album. It’s a really pretty tune.

“P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” – I’m not sure any song makes me want to dance more than “PYT.” Much like “Human Nature,” this is one of my favorites partly because it hasn’t been overplayed.

“The Lady In My Life” – The least good tune on the album? Most likely. Still pretty gosh darn good? Without a doubt.

Does reading about this great album make you want to learn how to sing like Michael Jackson? Well, you probably will not be able to sound quite like Michael Jackson but you can greatly improve your vocal abilities with Singorama vocal lessons which come with a 60 day full money back refund period.

Beatlemania In 2009: 9/9/9 Is The Day Beatles Fans Have Been Waiting For

On 9/9/9 remastered versions of The Beatles 13 official studio albums will finally be released after over 20 years of waiting. The CD versions from 1987 are considered to an example of very poor mastering which is why Beatles fans have been wanting to hear these classic albums remastered for so long.

The excitement of 9/9/9 isn’t just because of the remastered stereo albums, but also because of the mono versions of The Beatles albums being released on CD for the first time ever. This will actually be the first time ever that the mono mixes of some of these amazing Beatles albums will be available on compact disc.

Why should we care about such outdated mixes in 2009? Mono was being phased out in the 1960s, why should we listen to mono mixes today? Well certainly many people may feel that way, but true Beatles fanatics want to hear these albums as they were originally intended to be heard and to do that you must listen to the mono mixes.

The mono mixes are what the band (along with George Martin & Geoff Emerick) were primarily focused on. The stereo mixes were done as an after thought with little (if any) input from the band, while the mono mixes were slaved over until they were just perfect. And because of this effort put into the mono mixes, many feel that the original mono mix of Sgt. Pepper is the “true” mix of this legendary LP.

But there’s even more Beatles stuff for fans to get excited about coming out on 9/9/9, for gamers there’s the Beatles Rock Band game which looks awesome from the previews of it I’ve seen. It basically allows you to play through The Beatles career from the days of “Beatlemania” through the psychedelic era all the way through the end. Even the Rock Band instruments look like the original Beatles gear (the best example is McCartney’s bass!) And now for the first time with the Beatles Rock Band game, you can sing harmonies.

Takamine Acoustic Left Hand And Electric Left Hand Oriented Guitars

When thinking of acoustic left hand guitars, Takamine immediately comes to mind. The US distributor for Takamine is US based. They are called the Kaman Corporation. They are well known for the pre-amp/EQ’s they have in every model acoustic/electric guitar. The same goes for their acoustic.

Every single model of Takamine A/E can be specially made for left-handed players.

Among the many series of Takamine acoustic  left handed guitars, there are two that stand out. One of these is the G series and encompasses a wide variety of acoustic electric guitar, left hand models included. Most of them feature a spruce top that is solid with nato sides and back. Not real sure what nato is, but I know that the instruments are spectacular.

Dollar for dollar, the Takamine acoustic electric guitar left hand oriented is top notch for several reasons. First, unlike their rival, who shall remain nameless here, the body style has not been altered. It is still a classic dreadnought with a flat rear and molded sides. This has maintained the acoustic tone every player craves and chases and will not slip from the lap when playing.

The only change is that some of these electric left hand guitars have a cutaway and some dont. I prefer the single cutaway because it allows access to the higher register, giving the player a further range. Most of the models I looked at had a smaller scale neck with only 20 frets. The neck joins at the 14th and you have clear access to frets 15 through 20. That is especially crucial when you kick in the pre-amp and power up for leads or standout rhythm riffs.

The single variation is that a few of these acoustic left hand guitars possess a cutaway and a few do not. I like using the single cutaway as it permits using the higher register, offering the player a greater range. A great number of the models I observed possess a smaller scale neck with just 20 frets. The neck meet at the 14th and you get easy access to frets 15 through 20. That is really important at the time you kick in the pre-amp and power up for leads or standout rhythm riffs.

Talking about the pre-amp and EQ, those put in to each Takamine acoustic electric guitar left handed edition is unique. Many of these G series are built with Takamines TK4N electronics. This permits the musician to adjust the mid-range on the fly if required as per his need and has a notch filter that can be tuned.

The Natural series of Takamine guitars also deserves mention. The Natural model is more expensive than the G series, and it comes with a solid cedar top and mahogany sides and rear. It is still an excellent value for its cost, because the quality of the wood is so high. The acoustic left-handed guitars produce excellent, clear tones, whether you buy an electric version or not. Takamine’s attention to detail really shows when you use light to medium steel strings.

Left-handed guitar players need guitars specially designed for left-handers to produce quality results, and many of the best electric guitars can be found at www.lefthandedguitarmall.com. This site is intended to help left-handed players find the guitars that they need, and if you’re a southpaw, you should visit the site without delay.

Be a Star By Serving The Music, Sing Backup

If singing behind the lead act is not enough for you, do not attempt to sing backup. You must be content to sing behind the star, not fight with them for prominence. Backup singing is for those who can besatisfied playing a support role to the lead act of the show.

To sing backup is much harder than it looks. The ability to listen and be sensitive  is paramount is this method of singing. You must learn to breathe and begin and end your line as the main singer does. As a shadow is always there, so is the effective backup singer.

If you can control your place on the stage, see to it that you can see the singer at all times. To sing backup effectively, this is very, very important to your job. Learn to watch the singer at all times. The singer will change course or make a mistake and only if you are aware can you react. Watch the singer intently and always. The singer may use a hand gesture to indicate a repeat from the top or even a modulation so be aware.

Learn to blend your phrasing to the will of the singer. If you want to blend in the proper way, start your phrase just after the singer starts theirs. If you are watching the singer as you should, you can start your melody quietly if you are not sure how loud they will be at any particular time. Do not pronounce consonants too hard at the start of a line. Two consonants sung slightly after each other will sound dissonant and is largely avoidable.

The end of lines are just as vital as the beginning. You can avoid embarrassment to yourself if you only will ease off your line as the singer comes to the end of theirs. So learn to blend melodies, listen and watch the main singer and you can be a backup singer every band wants to hire.

The Media Player Comes Of Age

Audio, video and images are now combined in the portable media player. The common audio format used is the MP3 audio format. Audio format such as WAV, Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) and the Windows Media Audio may also be supported by the media player. LCD or OLED screen is used normally to display images. Images are usually displayed using the JPEG format although some may also support other file formats like PNG, GIF and TIFF to view images. MPEG-4 video format is supported by most of the portable media players. Windows Media Video (WMV) and AVI formats may also be supported, in addition, by the players. Video transfer besides audio transfer between the computer and player is possible using USB cables in most of the portable media players as well as portable digital assistants (PDAs).

These portable devices use hard drive, flash memory or microdrive to store data. The data storage capacity is lower with flash memory based devices which has reached a capacity of 32GB. Maximum data storage capacity is with the hard drive portable devices whose maximum storage capacity is as much as 320 GB. The storage capacity can be increased with the use of external devices such as memory Sticks, Secure Digital card and CompactFlash. Many players and PDAs have this facility. The size of the screen ranges up to 7 inches. Resolutions go up to WVGA. The color depth ranges from 16-bit to 24-bit. More and more devices now sport touch screen technology.

Digital audio players, digital video recorders, portable video players and personal digital assistants are now offered by many companies. The important portable media players in the market are Philips’ Philips 8GB Gogear player, Apple’s iPod series, Scandisk’s Sansa Fuze and Sansa view, Sony’s Walkman series, Creative Labs with their Zen series and Samsung’s Samsung T10 and Samsung P2.

The Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) is a handheld computer. It incorporates the functions of portable media player into the PDA. The simple digital diary was brought out in the 1980s. It has developed further at a great pace to become a palmtop computer now. The functions of the portable media player are incorporated into the PDA. The important functions of a computer too are available in the device. It is easy to carry around as it is sleek, compact and small. It is small enough to be held in the palm making it very convenient to carry them around. It combines the functions of media player, mobile phone and web browser. Wi-Fi or Wireless Wide-Area Networks have made PDAs to connect to the Internet, extranets or intranet.
