STOP THE PANIC ATTACKS
Panic, Anxiety – Fear?
Are you feeling scared under pressure? Is there a lot of stress in your life? Do you feel threatened whenever a new event in your life presents itself? Do you feel panic and anxiety just walking out your door each morning?
Our family has lived through this until we found Panic Away
Constant worry and anxiety, your stomach aches, you get dizzy and can’t breathe. Every muscle in your body reacts to anxiety and eventually you have a panic attack. You are always tired, but can’t sleep.
Anxiety causes panic which makes it hard to concentrate and keeps you tense and jumpy. You are always thinking the worst thing is going to happen if you go around that corner.
Fear, the definition of fear is:
- A feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger. Again we hear the word anxiety.
-A state or condition marked by this feeling
-A reason for dread or apprehension
-To be uneasy or apprehensive
Anxiety attacks, known as panic attacks in health circles, are periods of intense panic or fear. One minute you are fine, the next minute you could have an anxiety attack completely without warning.
Anxiety attacks usually last about ten minutes, and they seldom last more than a half hour. But during that little bit of time, that can feel like eternity, the fear can be so intense that you feel as if you’re about to die or totally lose control. The physical symptoms are themselves so scary that you believe you are having a heart attack. After an anxiety attack is over, there is always the fear of when will I have the next one, particularly in a public place where help isn’t available or you can’t easily get away.

Goal Setting & Time Management
Time Management & Goal Setting Gear
While science is at its most advanced state nowadays, there remains to be a lot of things to juggle for a typical career-oriented individual. For most family-oriented persons, there is the burden of juggling work, career, family and other factors involved in one’s social life.
You can read more on Time Management & Goal Setting
The answer is Time Management & Goal Setting. Many highly successful persons are often asked what their secret to success is. And more often than not, they have the same response, and that is Goal Setting. However, although this is almost an expected response, many are still baffled at how Time Management really works.
Goal Setting is simply the proper allocation of time for certain tasks. First, the important tasks have to be arranged in a certain way where it is clustered into sectors and listed according to urgency and importance. For example, the important parts of your life are career, your daughter, your home, your art, and your family. You have to know which one to drop first whenever you need to do something.
After that, you will need help from some Productivity Tools designed to aid you in the correct process of prioritization AND remembering that order.
Quick-and-Easy Reminders
Goal Setting Tools & Time Management Techniques
There are a lot of persons who need lots of reminder when it comes to taking care of medium sized businesses. Often, they are too small that they are disregarded as unimportant. If you are one of them, buy some quick-and-easy teasers. What’s good about technology is you can probably put an alarm just about everywhere! Cellular phones nowadays have built-in organzing device of your choices, post-its are available in different sorts, and even the good old refrigerator door magnets have come in a lot of forms.
What is important is that the frequency of the reminding is now being increased. This is good for Time Management & Goal Setting because it keeps you aware of the things which you have to do especially if they’re urgent.
The organzing device of your choice + Watch Tandem
These are staples for just about every busybody from the college beadle to the corporate leader. The organizer is something that holds your appointments and it’s also a tiny little space for some writing. Busybodies usually have contact numbers of random people they meet, gifts for a not-so-relevant birthday party that he has to go to or some sudden brilliant ideas that come to mind. For these and more, you will need an organizer. It has to be a little agenda, just enough to fit in a small handbag, and should be made of durable material. You must bring your organzing device of your choice with you every day, in case you need to list something down as a reminder.
Moreover, the perfect complement to an organizer is a high-quality watch. You may have experienced running late for an appointment just because your watch didn’t work well. What’s worse is that the person you’re meeting wouldn’t even believe you. This blunder can easily be avoided. Just get a high quality watch. Having a good sense of time is practically the first step in Productivity.
The Perfect mindset
It’s pressuring to know that you have a lot of things in your hand and it seems like you can’t even do anything about it. Don’t tip over.
Moreover, keep a be on your toes kind of manner of thinking as you maneuver your way into your busy life. Sure, there are times when you distance yourself from your organizing device of your choice. It is a painful reminder of the busy life they lead for some. It’s perfectly alright to feel some form of eternal urgency but take some time off once in a while. You must never neglect yourself in your list of tasks.

A Motivational Speaker Wonders: Is Your Brain Inhibiting Your Professional Growth?
As a motivational speaker and consultant, (during my keynote speeches) I often ask: How frequently do you become conscious of the side of your own nose? And, if you wear spectacles, when was the last time you were distracted by the frames? I have a sneaking suspicion that that your response to both these questions is: “not often”.
Actually – when you think about it – this observation is a bit surprising because both your nose and specs are well within your visual field. (My motivational speaker and training audience members are by and large extremely taken aback.) Which begs the issue, in view of the fact that they encroach upon your visual field, how come your nose and glasses don’t become a visual distraction? Here’s the answer: It’s because your brain blocks them out.
In fact, only a minuscule part of the immense amount of information picked up by your senses ever impinges on your awareness. Attempting to purposefully assess all this information would be as tough as attempting to catch the monthly rainfall in Seattle in a bucket the size of a thimble. Filtering out all the ‘unimportant’ data, including your nose and glasses, is a essential brain function.
So why – as an inspirational motivational speaker – did I bring this unusual visual phenomenon to your attention? Answer: Because it raises an crucial point. When it limits your outlook, does your brain also hamstring your effectiveness? Bottom line, a number of aspects of the brain sieve directly influence our productivity. Case in point, it makes our existing thought patterns still more all-encompassing. In this commentary I’m going to discuss a very important element of the brain sieve, how it tends towards the negative.
Your Pessimistic Point of View
The cerebral sieve lets the pessimistic aspects of a situation dominate your attention. If you still need proof of your tendency to focus on the negative, try the following simple experiment. (Incidentally I routinely suggest this exercise in my inspirational healthcare presentations.)
Draw a line down the center of a piece of paper. Then, each and every time you have a positive thought, draw a tick on one side of the line. Conversely, each and every time you have a depressing thought, mark a cross on the other side. Which side do you think you’ll fill up first? When subjects perform this exercise sincerely, they discover they’re far more pessimistic than they appreciated.
What we require is a wider outlook, the ability to catch sight of the optimistic aspects of a circumstance in order to make up for our natural tendency to be pulled towards the pessimistic. Why? It turns out that Psychologists have studied this trend extensively, and have discovered, time after time, that a positive viewpoint is linked with better results.
A Motivational Speaker’s Answer…
The next time a pessimistic reflection pops into your head, attempt these simple action steps:
Tip 1: Recognize the possibility that you’re not bearing in mind an similarly valid, more positive perspective.
Tip 2: Then, look at your situation from various points of view.
Tip 3: Ask yourself straightforward questions. Such as: Honestly, how awful this is problem really? Is it likely, I’ll even recall this annoyance in four years time?
In conclusion, being aware of your brain sieve will help you to get control of your emotions. Take control of your thinking and pay attention to what occurs. Take it from a motivational speaker, you’ll be surprised!
7 Tips To Help You Flex Those Confidence Muscles Now
Confidence is a belief that drives you towards a situation where failure is not an option. As such, it can be seen as a necessary component for continuous personal growth. But the truth is although this is an admission few make, many of us may feel like we could use a boost in this department.
Here are 7 practical tips that you can use to help raise your confidence level a few notches and help you get regain your personal growth momentum.
1. Remind yourself how terrific you are. The first step to being confident, is to start regaining it internally. Every morning before you start your day, stand in front of your mirror and energetically repeat “I feel terrific!” or “I am awesome!” to yourself. Yes, you may feel mildly self-conscious at first… but you'll be amazed at how quickly this repetition will become ingrained in your mind!
2. Make a conscious effort to feel good about yourself. Dress up and look your best in the morning, or fix your hair a different way today. While this might seem superficial, you will find that looking your best can instantly lift your mood and confidence.
3. Appear confident. Take some time to observe the physical attributes of confident individuals. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that confident people sit, walk and talk a certain way. Take notice of these traits and practice and maintain them, inspite of not feeling them. Many people attempt to work on their internal belief systems prior to correcting their external traits. But when you already act confident, it’s much easier to convince yourself internally that you are.
4. Exercise. While getting in shape is an definite self-esteem booster, scientific research provided us with even more reasons to why regular exercise can also elevate your confidence. Michael Craig Miller, the editor in chief of the Harvard Mental Letter, echoed the findings of numerous scientists when he said that regular exercise and strength training actually improves mood, sleep and resilience in addition to raising self-esteem and decreasing anxiety. Ultimately, exercise stimulates the release of endorphins and other important neurotransmitters that can make you feel good. When you're in a state of positivity, your confidence and outlook on life are almost automatically augmented.
5. Use uplifting music. This is a classic confidence-building exercise because of how tried and tested it is. Music is a temporary, but extremely effective, state-booster that can help you get pumped before engaging in any possibly-stressful situations that may affect your confidence.
6. Surround yourself with positive people. We are surrounded by people daily and while you might not notice this immediately, but the company you keep affects you internally. Therefore, it's crucial to keep as many positive or at least neutral, people around you. After all, negative individuals can pull your mood and confidence level down with just a few words.
7. Get started NOW. There is no better time to start elevating your confidence than right now. Procastination encourages insecuity, discontent and melancholy. While you should not expect major changes right away, you’ll realize during your journey that little benefits start taking shape almost immediately.
Building confidence requires practice and it will start to pay off sooner rather than later. So use these confidence techniques to get you back into taking charge of your success and personal growth.
Memory Improvement Concepts
There are people that strain and struggle to remember things on a daily basis. There could be a number of reasons for this. However, there are ways that you can get your brain trained for memory improvement.
There are certain things that each side of your brain is responsible for. For instance, the left side of your brain deals with numbers, words, logic, sequence, analysis and other components. The right side of your brain deals with color, dimension, imagination, rhythm and the big picture.
Both sides of the brain work to make these components come to life. In addition to that, there are other tactics that can be used for memory improvement.
Memory improvement can help you to have unique connections between items that have no type of relationship with each other. It can help you to remember things in the correct order. You can enjoy some of the other methods in order to get your memory back to where it should be.

Once you get the techniques down pat, you will be able to remember so much that it will be overwhelming to you. However, you won’t forget because the techniques will be ingrained in your mind.
You will be able to remember lots of names from work, your neighborhood and around the way. You will be able also to remember certain dates, meetings and other scheduled events. Being able to remember them weeks and months ahead is very phenomenal.
With memory improvement techniques, you will not have to strain and struggle trying to remember this, that and the other. Straining and struggling to remember things can be frustrating and painful. Just think if you ran into someone that you had not seen in a few months. If you could not remember their name, you might be embarrassed.
So implementing some of these techniques for memory improvement would be to your advantage for your benefit. You won’t have to concern yourself with looking foolish when trying to remember things.

8 powerful benefits of audio books to teaching
There's no denying the fact that most people hated reading as kids, only a few kids enjoy reading, especially if there is an alternative.
Audio books have now made it possible for children to get better access to materials that they don't like reading.
Obviously, children still need to read, this is very important but reading along side audiobooks make is so much more exciting.
Many schools have now taken audio books not just to the homes of their students but also in the classrooms.
It has been mentioned by the educational sector that audio books, when used in teaching, can even have more impact than convensional books for children that are just begining to learn to read or those with reading difficulties.
Below are 8 specific benefits of using audio books for students:
1. Using audio books to teach children in school gives them "variety", instead of just listening to their teacher, they benefit from the change that comes with "another" teacher.
2. There are specific audio books prepared with children in mind that are not only educative but very entertaining, these types of audio books make learning much more fun than normal teaching.
3. An audio book being played in the classroom will free up the teacher time, they can spend more time preparing exciting lessons and other tasks.
4. For children with reading difficulties, they can slowly follow the readings from audio books until it feels comfortable to read.
It's a very powerful way of improving learning skills as all children have to do is listen to an audio book while reading the printed words.
5. Audio books are actually a lot cheaper. Instead of buying dozens of books for a classroom, just one audio book can be played for all the students in the classroom.
6. Audio books that tell interesting stories are very helpful in times when the children would have become too tired to read and study.
Stories that children are very fond of will become so much more interesting.
7. Children don't particularly like printed books as they do audio books. A child can feel more 'at home' when they are 'told a story' rather than reading a book.
8. Having the word actually spoken to a child is a great advantage when learning how to pronounce words. It's a really good way of learning pronunciation, hearing the actual word spoken at the same time as seeing how it is spelt.
All in all, most children find it a great deal of fun listening to a lesson on audio, rather than having to read it. That is why children spend a lot of time watching movies, rather than reading.
No wonder more schools are embracing the technology of audio books for teaching their children.

Where do you listen to your audio books?
We have a lot to be grateful for when talking about technology.
Who would have ever believed that not only would we cut down on the way we use up our vegetation for making hardcover and paperback books, we would also be able to "listen" to our books instead of "reading" them.
Ironic? Not with the introduction of audio books.
With audio books, we now have the unique advantage of doing other things that take up our hands, but not our minds. We now have the freedom of doing what we want, while having the book read to us.
Audio book sales are increasing as more and more people are taking advantage of how wonderful they are to listen to.
If you have thought about buying audio books you will want to read the below suggestions
1. In bed - There are certain days when we just don't want to do anything but lie down in bed thinking of certain issues. Or we could just want to lie down in the dark until we fall asleep.
This is a great time to listen to an audio book. You wouldn't have to bother with putting on the lights, holding the book, flipping through the pages or the stress of reading the book itself.
With an audio book, the entire book will be read to you while you stay comfortable in bed - without flipping any pages, holding the book or putting on the lights.
2. In the kitchen while doing household chores such as washing the dishes or cooking. For some people it can be very boring being in the kitchen, especially washing the dishes or other such chores.
This is a brilliant time to listen to and love an audio book because your hands are busy but your mind is free.
Another, much better thing would be to listen to an audio book, this would crush all the negative thoughts.
3. In the garden while gardening - You can also listen to audio books while gardening. The audio book can make the gardening fun because you would be concentrating on the beauty of the audio book and not on the difficulty of gardening.
4. While exercising such as jogging - Exercising such as jogging leaves your mind open but your hands, legs and even your entire body busy. This is a brilliant time to listen to and love an audio book.
People can spend countless hours every week exercising while their mind wonder. But listening to an audio book during this time ensures you don't waste those times that you exercise.
This couldn't be a better example of killing 2 birds with one stone, a workout for your mind and body!
5. While travelling. Imagine how much time is spent sitting in a car, train, bus or especially on a plane. You see, many people loose a great deal of time doing nothing while commuting to and fro their jobs.
Why not use that time to listen to an audio book, especially one that develops your mind and/or improve your professional and business skills?
As an example, while listening to your favorite music is a lot of fun, just imagine how great it would be to be able to listen to an audio book that will actually improve your skills, this could be a benifit for your career.
6. In the air while traveling - You wouldn't believe it, but there are many people who spend more time in the air than on road. There are professional assignments that involve traveling from one state to the other, or even from one country to the other.
Just think how much of an amazing advantage it would be to spend this time listening to an audio book that would improve your professional skills.
Yes, there are many audio book courses made specifically for professionals to improve their skills in many areas of their professions.
